In a world marked by emotional disconnection and hyper-industrialization, Vacui emerges as a visual and conceptual exploration of emptiness in its multiple dimensions: ethical, emotional, and spiritual. This series positions itself as a space for reflecting on our relationship with nature, animals, and our own humanity, with the goal of rediscovering the intrinsic emotional bonds that connect us to other living beings.

The theory of dual dehumanization, central to the series, illustrates how distancing ourselves from animals not only objectifies them and reduces them to mere commodities but also alienates us from our capacity to empathize and feel. This process, where life is reduced to utility, not only strips animals of their dignity but also impoverishes our human essence.
